Newfoundland Power Inc. operates an integrated generation, transmission and distribution system throughout the island portion of Newfoundland and Labrador.For over 125 years, we have provided customers with safe, reliable electricity in the most cost-efficient manner possible. We purchase approximately 90% of the electricity we sell from the Crown corporation, Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro. We generate the balance from our own smaller hydroelectric stations – located across the island.
