GeoNorth Engineering Ltd. specializes in soil and rock mechanics, and their application to slope stability evaluation and stabilization, spread and pile foundation designs and settlement analyses, pavement structure design and rehabilitation assessments, retaining walls, evaluation of groundwater potential for domestic use or construction dewatering, rock quarry and aggregate deposit evaluations for use as construction materials, terrain analyses for resource extraction, route geotechnical investigations for utilities, resource roads and highways and aerial photo terrain interpretation. Beginning in 2006, we offer electric cone penetration tests (CPT) with dynamic pore pressure and shear wave velocity measurements.
