Amy is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist specializing in Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflex Neurological System. She partners with people to optimize function, performance and wellbeing through work with the physical body. This is helpful to more easily do the things we enjoy by improving strength, posture, movement & lessening pain. The state of nerve endings that receive & process sensations become less heightened and stressed, allowing more freedom of the body and enhancing the comfort & function of muscles and body activities. Through a full body assessment, Amy looks for the root causes of problems and uses hands-on therapy to engage body tissues, structures and systems from the tip of the head to the toe, working towards all moving together in health. This includes bones, their joint connections, contents of the head and torso including organs and vessels, the dividing diaphragm of breathing with holes that allow flow, and muscles and the lining elastic fascia that hold & move us.
